Swatch & Review: BBP – February Birthstone Duo

Hey y’all, I’m back today with another swatch and review. This maker and her polishes are regulars here in the Queendom as they have been showcased in multiple S&R and I’ve been able to get Up Close & Personal with her recently. Who could I possibly be referring to? Britt and Bad Bitch Polish (BBP) of course!

BBP started releasing birthstone duos last month and they will continue throughout 2017. In January, Garnet was released and I believe still available, but today I have Amethyst, the beautiful birthstone for February.

According to the American Gem Society, “This month {February} is often cold, dark and short for many people around the world, so the amethyst—which is often associated with qualities of peace, courage and stability—is the right gem for individuals who need a little extra warmth and strength this time of year.” So you see, you need this duo to help keep your hands warm and your mind and body peaceful..lol.

**All swatches are done using Commitment Issue Peel-off Base Coat by Vapid and Topped with Love by Love, Angeline (shiny) and Matte Me by Jior Couture (matte). Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**

Application: effortless and easy.

Opaqueness: 2 coats for complete opacity and no VNL

Overall: Like all my other BBP, these lived up to what I come to expect from the brand, amazing colors, quality and finishes. Even if you are not a born in February, how can you not love these purple beauties? A holo and a jelly? Really? Come on, it’s a no brainer.
