In order to top last month, makers would need to be magicians. Lucky for us, they all have a spell or 2 up their sleeve to create such wondrous creations inspired by Magic & Alchemy. This topic is not something is my wheelhouse so I’ll just hush up now and let y’all take a look.

Hey Sugas!! It’s time for a “new to me” brand!!! Today our featured maker and brand is KC Sprinberg from Northern Nail Polish,
In 2013, KC Springberg created her Michigan based nail polish brand, Northern Nail Polish because of the possible health issues associated with nail polish, ie exposure to carcinogens and other chemicals. Bit as KC says, “one should never have to sacrifice health for beauty,” KC began exploring safer options of making nail polish because her love for polish was to much to quit using it all together.
Fast-forward to 2017 when KC began selling at local shows and to present day with full line of polishes with shades and hues perfect for any occasion or day of the week!
Today, I am excited to share the upcoming 10-piece Fall 2019 Collection and Thermal Trio releasing Sunday, September 1st!

Hey Sugas!!! Last month the Maker’s Dozen was inspired by tropical marine life. This month, the table have turned and all polishes are inspired by our high-flying, feathered neighbors in the sky – BIRDS!
New to Maker’s Dozen???? Here are the details:
How will the box be run?
The Makers Dozen is a collaboration between 12 makers with a different guest maker joining monthly. Polishes will be sold on maker’s individual web sites. Clicking on the brands name below will provide a direct link to the makers site.

We will be doing this monthly. So 13 polishes released each month.
Pricing:
The pricing is set my each individual maker depending on their own preferences.
Cap:
40 bottles! Because of this cap polishes may sell out super quick, but there’s no cut off date. If they are still available in the next monthly they will still be able to be purchased.
How is Makers Dozen different from other boxes that are currently available?
Makers Dozen is so much different, and it’s really exciting. From day 1 to now the idea has changed so much and it’s a great thing. We will be releasing exclusive, numbered polishes so it’ll be exciting to get your hands on works of art! We will have 13 drawings in our group to allow members to win free shipping, discounts, etc. The makers are so excited to be engaging with the members I really think it will be something special. Another thing that sets us apart is that each month will be a rainbow of colors! We all rotate colors each month so every month there will be 13 different colored polishes!
Why ‘Maker’s Dozen’?
Makers Dozen was a name that the group came up with together, a play on bakers dozen, and it fits so perfectly!

Hey Sugas!!! The 5 piece Moonlit Collection has rendered me speechless. There isn’t an Ethereal Lacquer that I just don’t love.

Heather of Heather’s Hues decided to collaborate with indie makers and create The Indie Love & Light Project (ILL). The main idea is to radiate love and light focusing on 3 main areas: positivity, charity and random acts of kindness (RAOK). Let’s break it down….

Hey Sugas!!! I’m back from the beach and it was amazing! My daughter had a great time and that’s all that mattered.
Now that I have celebrated my daughters birthday, my next task at hand is getting everyone BACK 2 SCHOOL!!! That means morning routines, backpacks and carpool… ahhhh the good life! But nothing says back 2 school like like a crisp autumn morning. I know we have just over a month before it’s officially Fall, but preparedness is the name of the game. Halloween, scarves and pumpkins are the name of the game and with beautiful nail polish is the only way to play.
