Hey y’all!! Happy Halloween!!! I recently did Neon Flame Twin Nails with Maria and I thought today would be the perfect day to show you just how I accomplished my mani.
I love this mani because 1) it was so simple to do, once I found some “flames” to use, 2) the use of non-traditional, neon colors was exciting and 3) I had a great time collaborating with Maria.

Hey Sugas!!! Stop the press! Today I have 4 polishes from… a… “NEW TO ME” BRAND!!
786 Cosmetics is the only Halal and Wudu friendly brand I know of that is also cruelty free, vegan and ships worldwide. Their polishes are ‘inspired by cities around the globe’ and their product line not only includes polishes in various finishes, but files and soy based polish remover.
For those of you who are like me and had no clue what Halal and Wudu are and/or mean, let me help ou out. Halal is Islamic for permissible/allowed by Islamic Law. Wudu is the Islamic procedure for washing parts of the body including hands, mouth, nostrils, arms, head and feet with water, as type of important part ritual purification. Hey Sugas!!! There is rain in the forecast this weekend. #sigh. I totally had plans to treat myself to a haircut and eyebrow threading but I don’t like being out in the rain. I’d much rather spend my day curled up on the couch in front of the fireplace. But I think if I go another day with my eyebrows lookin the way they do, I won’t be able to see 2 feet in front of me come Monday. And don’t even get me started on my hair…. it’s atrocious. What’s a girl to do???
On thing that is far from atrocious and actually quite stupendous is the upcoming Sea Water Shimmers Part II Collection from Blush Lacquers. This is a sequel collection to the popular “Sea Water Shimmers Collection” released in 2016. It is a moody palette of dusty base colors with bright sparkling shimmers.

Hey Sugas!!! Fun fact #224 about yours truly, I love music!!! I was never gifted with the ability to play an “instrument” but I was in the school chorus from the 4th-12th grade. I love singing!!! I don’t think I good enough to be the next Celine Dion or Whitney Houston, but I sound amazing in the shower.
I find that I work better while listening to music and it puts me in a better mood when I may be having a challenging day. A while back, Jason and Xavier told me about a music app and they hooked up a speaker in my office that I can listen to the app via Bluetooth… genius!!! I know I am little behind the times but I’m working on it.
Anyway, being born in the 80s meant growing up in the 90s, when music was music! I found the this great 90s R&B playlist and I literally haven’t gotten anything done all day. All day, jam after jam keeps coming on from artists that I haven’t heard from in years like, Heavy D, Lauryn Hill, Usher, TLC, 112, etc! I haven’t chair danced so much in my life! I say all that to say, this playlist is the reason this post is so late today…lol! Don’t blame, blame the music!
Let’s get to the polish….
Today, not only do I have a new polish from EA Polish, but I have 2 new nail care products that are being added to an already amazing lineup. In addition to the lacquer, apparel, mugs, base and top coat. EA Polish is releasing… wait for it… nail polish remover and cuticle oil!! But this isn’t your grandma’s remover and drugstore cuticle oil. This stuff right here…. well why don’t we just check it out!

Hey Sugas!!! Today I have what I imagine to be the perfect autumn beach sunset in polish form. I mean like, if I would were to cruise on down to the beach right now, take a picture at sunset and then put it in a bottle, it would be this polish.
Sacha and Ari of Jior Couture, created their first Facebook Fan Group custom, Autumn Sands which was created from an inspiration photo suggested and voted on by group members. So, as you may have guessed, there is a super secret, special code needed to purchase the group custom but trust me it’s totally worth joining the group for. Hey Sugas!!! Today I am over the moon excited to share 4 amazing polishes from a “new to me” brand, Dimension Nails Premium Lacquer. The reason I am so uber excited is because this brand has been on my list of “must try” for a loooooooong time, so when I was asked to swatch a few colors, I jumped at the chance.
But first…. about the brand. From what I can gather, Stephanie, brand owner and creator is based out of Florida and has a heart for all things animals. Not only are all of the products 100% vegan and 10-free, but they are also cruelty free and certified by PETA. Dimension Nails is not just nail polish, the shop also offers gel polish/builders, cosmetic grade glitters, glass crystals and charms just to name a few.
Upon opening the my swatch package, I was absolutely floored by the 4 glorious crèmes I was sent. Initially I opened each one and ran the brush against the neck of the bottle. Come on… I’m not the only one who does that. Anyway, I noticed how velvety smooth the polishes were, no odor and well mixed. I could immediately tell I was going to love these polishes and this brand. Let’s take a look.
