Moore Swatches: Blush Lacquers – In The Garden Cremes Collection, Opposites Attract Shimmers Collection and Wedding Duo

Hey Sugas!!! Before we jump into the polish, I am so excited to share that today is the mast day of my smothie detox/cleanse and starting tomorrow I am back on solid foods!!! I know this may seem a little…unnecessary, but I am stoked to finally eat a salad. So tomorrow begins phase 2 of my healthy, clean eating lifestyle change.

Ok… now on to the polish!

Today I have 2 collections and a duo from Blush Lacquers totaling 14 polishes so settle in and get comfy, you’re in for a real treat!

First up is the In The Garden Cremes Collection! This 6 piece collection features red and green toned ombre shades inspired by flowers and garden plants. These versatile cremes can be worn alone, as a base color for nail art or to top with the coordinating Opposites Attract Shimmers Collection. 

Next up, Opposites Attract Collection which showcases 6 red and green toned ombre shades with contrasting shimmers. Aptly named, this collection features all sorts of “opposites”. Red and green are opposite each other on the color wheel. Not only do you see that in the base colors, but also the shimmer colors. The names for these collections are based on “cliche” phrases that humorously oppose each other as well. 

Coordinating Colors:

• Eucalyptus Mint coordinates with Sorry Not Sorry
• Thyme After Thyme coordinates with Green With Envy
• Vining Ivy coordinates with Go With The Flow
• Peaches & Peonies coordinates with Kiss And Make Up
• Darling Dahlia coordinates with Kill ‘Em With Kindness
• Pickin’ Poppies coordinates with Stop In The Name Of Love

But wait! There’s more, the Wedding Duo are polishes that will be worn by Victoria for her own wedding! Polishes are inspired by the groom’s suit (a deep navy) and the wedding dress (taupe and white lace).

Moore Swatches: Great Lakes Lacquer – Polishing Poetic v2 Collection and Love Letter To Duo with Scofflaw Varnish

Hey Sugas!!! They were so good the first time around, Great Lakes Lacquer (GLL) decided to bring them back for a version 2. That’s right, the highly sought after Polishing Poetic Collection is back! All of the polishes had to be reformulated due to finding new pigment with the same shifts and therefore almost all of the polishes are re-named with ‘v2’. The only one not coming back is ‘Leaves No Step Had Trodden Black’ and it’s being replaced with ‘I Have Been Her Kind’.

In addition to the fan favorite collection, a new duo from Great Lakes and Scofflaw is releasing. Mariah of Great Lakes, along with Lauri Salzman (whom we lost this year), created the Love Letter to Scofflaw Facebook Fan Group a year or so before she started her brand.

“I couldn’t think of a better way (or person) to celebrate GLL’s 4th Birthday than Finch,” says Mariah. The duo will launch on July 12th thru August 3rd at 9pm et. Please note, these will not be restocked at a later date and will not be available individually.

Moore Swatches: Rogue Lacquer – Christmas in July Duo

Hey Sugas!!! It’s been just over a week since I’ve changed my diet and I’d be lying if I said it was easy. My cheat meal turned into a cheat weekend but I am proud to say that I have started again. Moore Swatches: July 2019 Hella Handmade Creations (HHC)

Hey Sugas!! Why is it that vacations go by so quickly but when you’re at work the hours just seem to drag on and on. I’ve looked at the clock a million and a half times this morning and only 6 minutes have passed. Sheesh!

Oh well, I guess that just means that it’s high time I share the 20+ offerings from the upcoming July 2019 Hella Handmade Creations (HHC) release. And being as though we are 1/2 way through the year, I think it’s also a great time to share what HHC is and how it works.

Hella Handmade Creations is a Facebook group w/ corresponding Instagram page, where nail polish lovers, both customers and makers alike, gather, share and discuss there love for all things polish. HHC got a total makeover in April 2018, when they completely revamped the way they offer their exclusive group customs. Each month, makers will make 1 item, polish, wax, etc, based on a theme of their choosing and offer it from the 14th-21st on the Hella Handmade Creations online store.

Moore Swatches: July Fandom Flakies Box – Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Hey Sugas!!! I hope you all had an amazing 4th of July! The Queendom was closed in observation of the holiday but I am back today with a scary, frightnening trio.

The not-so spooky pair, Sarah of Bees 🐝 Knees Lacquer and Lindsay of Night Owl 🦉 Lacquer combined hair- raising forces with special guest maker Meagan of Ethereal Lacquer and created a horrendously, eerie trio inspired by the original book, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, containing 29 stories, including “The Big Toe”, “The Thing”, “The Haunted House”, “The Hearse Song”, “The Dead Man’s Brains”, “The Hook”, “High Beams”, “The Babysitter”, “The Viper”, and “The Ghost with the Bloody Fingers”. But do you know???… The 1981 classic has been adapted into a made for TV movie airing in Aug on the USA network.

And to elevate your spine-chilling mani to the next level, add on the waterslide decals from Ribbits Stickits.

• 1 ½ oz. (45ml) Melon Liqueur

• 2 oz. (60ml) Sour Mix
• 1 ½ oz. (45ml) Lime Juice
• Dash Lemon Lime Soda
• Garnish: Lime Wheels, Cherry

Wildflower Lacquer – inspired by Caribbean Storm

Pink Layer:

• 1/2 oz. (15ml) Pineapple Rum
• 1/2 oz. (15ml) Mango Rum
• 1/2 oz. (15ml) Banana Rum
• 2 oz. (60ml) Calypso Triple Melon Lemonade

Purple Layer:

• 1 oz. (30ml) Blue Curaçao
• 1/2 oz. (15ml) Everclear
• 2 oz. (60ml) Lemon Lime Soda

Nailed it – inspired by Shark Attack

• 1 oz. (30ml) Blueberry Vodka
• 1 oz. (30ml) Hypnotiq
• 1 oz. (30ml) Blue Raspberry Vodka
• 1 oz. (30ml) Blueberry Schnapps
• 2 oz. (30ml) Sweet & Sour
• 1 oz. (30ml) Simple Syrup
• Gummy Sharks
