Hey Sugas!!! I wanted to open up this post a little differently today because as you can see from the title, todays quad from Necessary Evil is inspired by empowering women. So let’s break that down, shall we?!

Empower and Encourage are both verbs aka action words.

Empower – 1) give (someone) the authority or power to do something; 2) make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights; 3) to give permission, power, or the legal right to do something

Encourage – 1) give support, confidence, advice or hope to (someone) so that they will do or continue to do something; 2) help or stimulate (an activity, state, or view) to develop; 3) to mentally support; to motivate, give courage, hope or spirit.

In layman’s terms, empower = authorize and encourage = inspire

We are living in a world today ladies that it is imperative that we do both. There is no need for hate, no need to tear our self or one another down. As a mother of 2 girls, it is my responsibility to empower AND encourage them so today’s post is dedicated to my daughters, Xylana and Xadrian. As I write these words to them, please know they are you too.
