Hey Sugas! Happy Monday, I’m so glad to have you back because I have tea to serve. And no, I am not literally talking about the drink, but by ‘tea’ I am referring to the gossip, the info, the 4-1-1, the details, etc. With me? Good! Let’s proceed.
How many of you watch or have at least heard of RuPaul’s Drag Race??? No? It’s the Emmy-winning series in its milestone 10th season where RuPaul and a host of judges search for America’s next drag superstar. Still nothing?
Ok ummm….let’s not panic. Let me see if I can break it down. It’s an American reality competition television series which airs on currently on VH1 and each season, a cast of 14 talented drag queens compete for the coveted title of America’s Next Drag Superstar and a cash prize of $100,000. Regulars Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews join Ru on the judges’ panel to decide who stays, who lip syncs for his/her life, or who “sashays away.” RuPaul’s Drag Race has inspired the spin-off shows RuPaul’s Drag U and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars.
