Something special happens when friends get together; memories are made and good times are had. Just think about the last time you and a good friend or friends hung out. I’m sure there was laughter and/or crying, maybe some dancing, singing and of course… eating. Good friends are like a rare gem, so when you find them, it’s important to hold on tight. And even through arguments, disagreements and no matter how much time or space passes in between talking, real friendships last.

Today’s feature collection has been a long time labor of love between two friends with mutual loves of design, art, fashion, romance, and of course, nail polish!!

Lindsey and Elena met very shortly after first launching Tonic when she did the first group custom under the newly minted “Polish Revamped” group (link below). Elena kindly remembered Lindsey when she partnered with the Crazy for Crelly’s group to do the special edition “Smoke & Mirrors” box. Lindsey realized Elena had a passion for design and creative concept that she wanted to tap into, and eventually asked Elena to develop some mood boards to develop colors from!! This collection came from Elena’s inspiration boards (shown), was named by Elena, and comes straight from both of their hearts!

**All swatches are done using liquid latex peel off base coat, QDTC and Onward Through the Fog Matte Topcoat by Vapid (matte). Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**

Novitiate

An icy mint cream with turquoise shimmer that shifts to a soft pale purple. $12

Fecundity

A deep grape purple with green-fuchsia/purple shifting multichrome large particle shimmers, a hint of green-purple-fuchsia multichrome shimmer, iridescent flakes, and tiny silver holo micro glitters. $12

Lemons & Cream

A yellow with strong red/pink shimmer and large particle shimmers. $11

Because of my very visible nail line, my swatch of Lemons & Cream is show over Dandelion (yellow creme) by Sally Hansen Insta-Dry line.

Dulcinea

A berry red with a vibrant glowing metallic shimmer. $12

Spectre

An aqua blue to purple shifting lumichrome. $13

Lagniappe

A multidimensional pink/orchid holo with blue sparkly blue shimmers and glowy orange-green shifting iridescent flakes. $12

Love Yourself First

A slight teal-green base with rose-golden multichrome and large particle color shifting shimmers, and scattered holo. $12

Formula / Application:Please note ***Lemons & Creme is a classic yellow…which means the application is tricky and it may cause slight staining or yellowing of nails, don’t forget the base coat with this one!!!***
