Swatch & Review: Tux – Chrome Alone Collection

***PRESS (PR) SAMPLE NOTICE ***

Well hey there, lemon drop! Aren’t you so glad we are finally at the end of the work week! #TGIF!!! I’m so happy to have for the first time, Dominque of Tux Polish in the Queendom. Tux has a new 6-piece collection, Chrome Alone, releasing on Thursday, Nov. 16th. YAY!!! Today I have swatches and as you may have guessed, this collection is inspired by the 90s holiday film Home Alone. Can you believe it’s been 27 years since this move came out? I was 7!

Now, I don’t care who you are, where you’re from or what holiday you celebrate, I know you you’ve heard of Home Alone. It’s got to be one of the most iconic holiday movies to date. I have to admit that I lost all interest in little Kevin McCallister and his antics during after Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. But to this day I try to catch 1 and 2 on tv if they come on and wouldn’t you now it, my kids, all 3 of them, curl up right beside me to watch too. My favorite scene has to be when he is prepping the house for Harry and Merv… #classic!

So, I hope you’re ready for a little trip down memory lane!

**All swatches are done using liquid latex peel off base coat, glossy, QDTC and matte topcoat. Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**

Overall Thoughts – Tux – Chrome Alone Collection

Formula / Application: this is my first experience with Tux and I have to say I enjoyed the experience very much. This is another brand where the formula is thinner than I expected but not un-manageable. Like Sally Hansen Insta-Dry brushes, I had to make sure to wipe off as much polish as possible from the neck. I did have a little flooding of cuticles and side wall, but clean up is part of the game.

Opacity: 3 coats
