Swatch & Review: Sassy Sauce Polish – September Release

I just realized that I am very ill prepared for today’s post. I try to have posts ready the night before but no such luck this go round. Here it is after 12pm et and not only haven’t I posted but I haven’t eaten breakfast or stopped to used the bathroom…nothing.

I did however run my girls’ lunch to their school because in the midst of them getting ready this morning, they forgot to grab it. All I can say is TGIF!!!

Tomorrow Xavier has his 1st marching band competition. How exciting?! And I, being not of sound body or mind half the time, volunteered to chaperone on the student bus. But it should be ok, right? I mean, they’re high school students, how bad could it be?

Ok, now I freaking myself out. Just send good vibes my way for extra good measure.

Today I have the newest polishes from Sassy Sauce including the newest addition to the lineup…Stamping Sauce. These polishes released today and are available for $8.50.

Let’s take a look!

**All swatches are done using liquid lated peel off base coat, glossy, QDTC and matte topcoat. Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**

The 13th Hour

A milky white, pearlescent base with a green/blue shifting shimmer, assorted black, green, orange and purple glow in the dark glitters

This was my fave of the bunch. The glitters are fun and make me look forward to Halloween even more. There is great even coverage of glitters in each stroke. No dragging or pooling and with 3 even coats, each dried adequately.

Shimmer Me Lemons

A mustard yellow shimmer

HELLO, YELLOW!!! This is such a gorgeous yellow for the fall. It’s a golden feel to it without being gold. It warm and inviting and not overpowering or blinding. My swatch is shown in 3 even coats and I had no application issues.

Cynical Smoke

A dusty purpled grey with purple shimmer

Everything about the is polish is perfect. The formula is silky and goes on smooth. The color is great and the grey tones purple is almost mysterious and great for a autumn even walk. The glowing shimmer is sure to light your way. My swatch is shown in 3 easy coats.

I Fall Brown

A brown/bronze base with gold shimmer, coppery-red glitter and holo

I love the name of this polish and it literally screams F-A-L-L. No issues to report with formula or application and glitter lay flat with a healthy coat of glossy, QDTC. Swatch shown in 3 coats.

New to the Sassy Family

STAMPING SAUCE aka stamping polish

Available in Slate, a medium gray crème and Copper, a metallic copper

Holy macaroni, these stamping polishes are EVERYTHING. They are great as a ‘regular’ polish and brilliantly opaque as a stamping polish. All of the nail done on the other polishes are done with these 2 polishes.
