The Queens Critique: Lollipop Posse Lacquer – Foaming Bath Bar

New month, new season, new products! It’s always exciting when an indie polish maker expands their brand to offer additional products to make  your shopping and buying experience even more enjoyable. Now, while you’re shopping for polish from Lollipop Posse Lacquer, you can also get your hands on their new Foaming Bath Bars.

I mean seriously, who doesn’t love a good soak in a hot bath after a long day. A good book, soft music playing in the background, your beverage of choice and a fragrant, moisturizing bath bar, yep, I’d say that’s the recipe for a refreshed, renewed spirit.

On Wed. 9/30, Lollipop Posse Lacquer released foaming bath bars in 4 amazing scents. They are simply the cutest and even before I opened the package, the fragrance permeated the room. Keep reading to find out more!

 Cotton Candy Chaos

Smells wonderfully sweet and delightful!

Zen and Zest

Deep, smoky patchouli accented with the juicy zing of orange peel.

Original Sin

Green and red apples, middle accents of raspberry, peach blossoms, and orchid, and grounding notes of nag champa, jasmine, and musk.

In the Bath of Milk and Honey

Hawthorne, creamy french vanilla, nutty almond, and a slight splash of lavender buds and sage.

Foaming Bath Bar FAQ

Will the foaming bath bars samples be available?

Foaming Bath Bar samples will not be available for sale at this time, but will be included as order “freebies” while supplies last. Pouches for the bubble bars will also be included with orders while supplies last.

How do I use a foaming bath bar?

To use a foaming bath bar, cut off a small part of the bar (1/4 to 1/3) and place in the provided pouch. Hold and crumble under running water to create yummy, long-lasting bubbles! Don’t have a pouch? No worries! Just use your hands to crumble the foaming bath bar. Some tips for bigger and better bubbles:

Use toasty warm (but not too hot – ouch!) water

You’ll get more bubbles if the water is running fast

Agitate the water with your hand to create more bubbles

How many baths can I get out of one foaming bath bar?

One ~5 oz. foaming bath bar is enough for up to four baths, depending on how much bubble action you want! Foaming bath bar samples are enough for one bath, and are a great way to test a new-to-you fragrance.

4. Are these safe for my kiddos?

Yes! Please make sure to check the ingredient list for known allergies, but my 7 year old son absolutely LOVES a cotton candy scented bubble bath 😉 Just be careful – the moisturizing oils might make the tub a bit slippery!

Overall: I think these bath bars are delightful and a great addition to a bathtime routine. They add a little “somthin’, somethin'” to your bath and leaves your skin feeling nourished and hydrated. I like that didn’t dissolve as quickly as a mani bomb but instead dissolved over a period of time. I ended up sharing my sample size ones with my daughters. They loooooooved the sweeter scents of Cotton Candy Chaos and Original Sin. I literally had to break each in half so they both could have some of each. I used In the Bath of Milk and Honey myself and let me just say, I never wanted to get out of the water. I am impressed with how long lasting they are. The next day I could still smell with scents as if I had just used them 10 mins ago and our skin still felt and looked great.
