Swatch & Review: BBP – May 2017 Indie Shop LE Trio

***PRESS (PR) SAMPLE NOTICE ***

Hey y’all, thanks for joining me back again for another week of daily posts. Yep, another 5 days of new reviews and interviews, hey, that rhymes…lol! No seriously, next week I’ll be returning back to my normal posting schedule but things got a little hectic here at the Queendom and I had to make sure I brought you all the polish news on time.

This week we are counting down to Indie Shop!!! You may be asking yourself, “what is that? To get all the details, click here and join the Facebook group. High level, it’s a vendor show hosted by Melody Mandegar of Envy Lacquer. Like Polish Con, various indie polish makers take over a city and #sellalltheirbeautifulthings. Those that have attended both Polish Con and Indie Shop events have said that while both are great to score event exclusives and meet the makers behind the polish and internet friends, they differ in that Polish Con is busy and twice the size of Indie Shop which is smaller and more intimate allowing more time to meet and greet. Either way, both sound like a vacation to me and another reason to #buyallthepolish. Seriously though, one day I’d love to attend Indie Shop but until then I’ll live vicariously through others.

This Saturday, May 13th marks the 5th Indie Shop taking place in Torrance, CA. That’s right baby, Indie Shop takes over L.A and this time things couldn’t be sweeter with an event theme focused on candy shop. This event will feature such makers including; Stached Polish, EverAfter, Lavish Polish, KBShimmer and many more. Of those “more” is Bad Bitch Polish (BBP)!!! Of course my girl Britt Pearson will be in the building with an amazing trio of polish. All three are matte finish jellies with slight holo effects.

Let’s take a look!

**All swatches are done using Commitment Issue Peel-off Base Coat by Vapid, QDTC by 2-Bit (shiny) and Matte Me topcoat by Jior Couture (matte). Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**

 Overall Thoughts

Formula / Application: perfect BBP formula. Great consistency and smooth application

Opacity: 2 coats

Price: $11 each or $30 for trio

Availability: At Indie Shop, May 13th or online May 14-20. Online orders will be pre order only.

Overall: I love the trio! It’s fun and playful and perfect for Indie Shop. I say if you’re looking for a pink, blue and purple trio, this is the one to get. The shades are soft but bold enough to wear any time of the year.

  1. I love the names of these polishes, I couldn’t help but smile as I read them. The colors are great too, I like how they are on the pastel side but still saturated with color.
